The first step in industrial design~ Designers first need to draw three kinds of glasses, and now they can go directly to 3D modeling, as well as the necessary accessories, such as glasses bridges, glasses legs, nose pads. , loops, etc. When designing, the requirements for the shape and dimensions of fittings are very high, otherwise this will affect the accuracy of the assembly of subsequent parts.
The official production of eyeglass frames starts with the large roll of metal wire in the picture below~

The most interesting part of eyeglass ring making is completed by the automatic ring winding machine shown in the picture below. According to the shape of the processing drawing, it is wound and then cut. This may be the most automated step in the glasses factory~

Attach the lens ring
The lens must be inserted into the inner groove of the eyeglass ring, so a small fixing piece is used to connect the two ends of the lens ring.

Production of legs for glasses
After finishing the frame part of the glasses on the nose, we need to make the legs of the glasses on the ears~ The first step is to prepare the raw materials, first cut the metal wire to the appropriate size.
It then passes through an extruder where the metal end is stamped into a die.
This is how one end of the bow is pressed vigorously into a small drum.

After that, workers should place the frame on a rotating grinding wheel and polish it carefully to make the frame more shiny.
Once the glasses frames are polished, it's not over yet! It needs to be cleaned, soaked in acid to remove oil and impurities, and then electroplated to coat with an anti-oxidation film... This can no longer be approved, it is electroplating!
Finally, put a soft rubber sleeve on the end of the mirror leg, and then use the machine to make a full bend, metal eyeglass frame, and you're done~
